Baby Boy Nursery

Now that we’re officially settling into life with two boys, I wanted to share a look inside baby brother’s nursery!

Designing this space, I had a better sense of what worked for us, what didn’t, and what we actually used day to day, which made everything feel a lot more intentional. I wasn’t trying to do too much, just create a peaceful, functional space that still felt sweet and special.

For the overall vibe, I leaned into calming neutrals and soft textures, layering in a few playful but subtle touches. I wanted the room to feel cozy and quiet, with a bit of personality peeking through. There’s a hint of old-school sports throughout – a vintage badminton racquet from Etsy, a tiny sports player print, and a golf course poster I found on Amazon – that gives the space a relaxed, vintage feel without going too theme-heavy.

Some favorite pieces: the Babyletto Kiwi Plus Power Recliner has been such a comfortable spot for feeding and rocking, and the Babyletto Yuzu 6-Drawer Dresser gave us so much great storage. I added texture with the Nathan James Rattan Shade Plug-In Wall Light, a wicker dome pendant light, and a woven-base table lamp that gives off the warmest glow. We’ve also loved having the BabyBjörn Bouncer out again – it’s one of those things we used nonstop with our first and knew we’d want again.

Other details that helped pull the space together: the Lynwood Cube Ottoman, blackout curtains from Amazon, a sweet hand embroidered pennant flag with his name, and a wood mirror that worked perfectly over the dresser. It’s a mix of new finds and little collected pieces that I love more each time I walk in.

It’s such a calming, happy little corner of our home – and we’re already making the sweetest memories here.
