Healthy Pregnancy Meal Ideas: What I Eat to Nourish Myself and Baby

< back to blog

Eating clean and nourishing my body during pregnancy is a top priority for me. I want to feel my best while also providing essential nutrients for my baby’s growth. Here are some of my go-to meals and drinks that keep me satisfied, energized, and on track with clean eating!

1. Greek Yogurt Parfait

A simple, protein-packed option that is both delicious and nutritious! I layer vanilla greek yogurt with fresh blueberries, banana, a drizzle of honey, cinnamon, and maple almond butter granola for added crunch. It’s a perfect way to start the day or enjoy as a snack.

2. Caesar Pasta Salad

I love a good Caesar salad and adding pasta makes it even more satisfying. I toss bowtie pasta with romaine hearts, grilled chicken, tomato, dried cranberries, homemade Caesar dressing, a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. It’s a great balance of fiber, protein, and healthy fats.

3. Caesar Wrap

For a quick and easy lunch, I take my Caesar salad ingredients and wrap them in a tortilla. It’s portable, filling, and so satisfying!

4. Korean Beef Bowls

This dish is packed with protein and flavor. I sauté lean ground beef or turkey with garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and a touch of honey, then serve it over jasmine rice with steamed veggies. It’s comforting yet nourishing. Recipe found here.

5. Burger Bowls

When I’m craving a burger but want to keep it on the cleaner side, I opt for a burger bowl. I layer lean ground beef, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, and a drizzle of my favorite burger sauce over a bed of greens or sweet potatoes.

6. Viral Beef, Avocado, Sweet Potato, Cottage Cheese & Hot Honey Bowl

This viral combo has been a game-changer for me! The mix of lean beef, creamy avocado, roasted sweet potatoes, protein-packed cottage cheese, and a drizzle of hot honey hits every craving while being super nourishing.

7. Zero-Calorie Sodas

Sometimes I just need a little fizzy treat, and zero-calorie sodas help satisfy my cravings without the extra sugar. Dr Pepper Zero is my go-to!

8. Lots of Water!

Hydration is key during pregnancy, and I make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day. I try to drink a few Stanleys a day to hit my water goal!

Sticking to meals like these helps me feel energized, satisfied, and confident that I’m giving my baby the nutrients needed to thrive. If you’re looking for clean and nourishing pregnancy meal ideas, here are all my videos to learn more!
