One of my favorite ways to slow down and capture memories is through scrapbooking. There’s something so special about sitting down, flipping through old photos, and turning them into a keepsake you’ll have forever. If you’re thinking about starting your own scrapbook (or refreshing your supplies!), I rounded up some of my absolute essentials that I love and use.
First, you need a good sturdy scrapbook album, one with thick pages that can handle photos, notes, and all the pretty layers we love. Then, of course, you have to add some personality! I’m obsessed with using stickers and washi tapes. They add the perfect touch of charm without overwhelming your photos.
For writing little notes or cute captions, I always reach for brush pens. They’re so fun to use — one side for details, one side for playful lettering. Honestly, half the fun is just doodling!
When it comes to sticking everything down, I swear by tape runners. Plus, a good pair of scissors is a total must. I use mine for trimming photos, cutting paper accents, and even shaping little embellishments.
And if you’re anything like me and love having all your supplies in one spot, a craft storage box is the way to go. If you want to see all my favorites in one place, you can find them here!
